ABOUT ADVENTURE TOUR CHITWAN

Adventure Tour Chitwan was founded in (2010) by Dilip Subedi, a local Nepali who is called Hari by the locals. He was born in 1985 in Dorangi, a village nearby Chitwan National Park. The Subedi family – Dilip’s parents and his brother and sister, grew up surrounded by animals, taking care of cows and water buffaloes, collecting jungle vegetables and fruit and living together with wild animals like reindeers, rhinos or monkeys.  

Dilip started university but his parents couldn’t afford the fees, so he gave it up and started his career as a tour guide. He was able to join nature guide training in 2007 and he passed it. After that, he worked as a tour guide in Abu Dhabi from 2008 to 2010 and then came back to Nepal.

Being home again, he worked as a guide in a tourist guide office and also in a hotel.  It was then when he realised he could start up his own business, in a natural way and working with other local Nature guides who are also born in Chitwan and are senior Naturists. And here we are, having founded a little natural tour guide office which cares about animals, environment.
